Tag boots

matching set – stella + daniel – sam remix – seattle

metallic + leather – joshua – sam remix – seattle

boots + denim – shana – downtown seattle

one of those easy things that can be interpreted a zillion ways.

shana is the end of the series! have a great weekend, and see you monday with sam remix and maybe a special surprise or two… xoxo- k.

use of color – kristina – pioneer square

i couldn’t pick which photo… i wanted to get a better detail of her scarf.

details – shelley – pioneer square

cutest. dress. ever. and i loved the detail on her boots…

concert style – ??? – south downtown

traveling alone to a show, and perusing the younger crowd is intimidating. maybe it’s flashbacks to highschool… i really liked this hoodie, it looked so cozy.  and those boots, those boots were the whole reason i stopped her.  i thought she was rock, without being ‘rock’.

happy birthday – chris – seattle

From needle+thread

some of you probably know chris, or emerald dandy to the bloggers… today is his birthday!!

a big happy birthday from needleplusthread- i am a big fan of all things birthday- nothing like celebrating another year of you! Read more

layers – vanessa – crown hill value village

From needle+thread

great little vintage inspired print on her dress… i think she said it was from target.

slim silhouette – toni – SAMRemix – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

i think he said the belt was from the finerie… very cool.

mix pattern + color – deena – capitol hill

From needle+thread

i loved this really graphic coat paired with the scarf, and her boots and tights were the exact same shade- kind of a dark olive green.

black + black – karol – capitol hill

From needle+thread

it’s not likely you’ve seen gavin and stacy, but if you have, doesn’t this lovely lady look like a slimmed down, sex kitten version of nessa?  i love all the color on the bag…

denim jacket – michelle – fremont

From needle+thread

what do you think of the denim jacket? i’ve been looking for just the right one…

birds of a feather – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

sometimes i lose track of photos that i really like… this was taken around christmas i think, and for some reason never got posted. these people were in a hurry- i took 3 photos, and in each one, one of them is doing something different. they literally ran away from me for a bus…

new addition – jesslyn – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

it’s odd to me to think that i know of 19 people who have had, or will have (in the next few months) a baby. that seems like a bit of a boom to me. i love seeing someone who doesn’t cater to the dressing challenge existing on her front mid-section. i recently attended a baby shower (the mom-to-be had her baby like 2 days later) and she looked more put together than anyone in the room, and quite frankly, adorable (somewhat uncomfortable?). anyway… to cute pregnant ladies! (another cute mom i spotted a while ago)

dancer style – lindsi + karel – pacific northwest ballet – seattle

From needle+thread

still looking for something to do with your valentine this weekend?  i recently received an email about the ’sleeping beauty’ pnb performances running last weekend and this one (tickets still available), it got me thinking that i probably wouldn’t know a dancer on the street if i saw one, and wondering what they wear on a daily, off-stage basis.

lindsi and karel were kind enough to let me get a peek.   Read more

reasons to shop the market – kim strang – pike place market

From needle+thread

i’m a hoarder. i’ll admit it. ok, it’s not that bad. but as it relates to female unmentionables, i DO have a problem. slips, pretty underthings, and a recent obsession… stockings. last year i did some serious damage at sock dreams. i have the warm legs to prove it. enter kim strang.

kim and i have one of those odd seattle stories of meeting each other, and then realizing we’ve lived in the same places, and know some of the same people. i call it seattle serendipity, if you live here, you’ve probably experienced it. ‘i lived in bellingham. i lived on forest. my dog used to run around and chew up frisbees…’ ‘oh you’re THAT girl. small world’.

anyway, a friend introduced us (maybe RE-introduced us), and i decided to go check out kim’s wares down in the market… Read more

color + fur – heather – pike place market

From needle+thread

heather works at cicada. i (again) don’t want to mention how long we followed her… but when she stopped for donuts in the market, we stopped to chat. love the over the top hat.

ladylike + boot – kate – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

have you missed me? i’ve missed you! and what better way to start than with a bang. i had a lovely meander tuesday morning with jaunty magpie. we spotted kate a block away. it makes you feel a bit of a lurker to follow a woman for a few blocks, but these boots! and of course kate worked at nordstrom. a lady THAT chic…had to be. i love the mix of that EPIC boot, and her very ladylike j.crew coat.

birds of a feather – karla + maria – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

i like all the knit detail going on here… i’ve been wearing a ton over-size organic shaped sweaters, and feel like they go with anything. also, i don’t know if that’s a scarf… the blue- but i’m digging on the unexpected shape and color.

beach-boho – claudia – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

i love when i see someone, and think… i want everything she’s wearing! from the cowl scarf, cozy grey sweater… the long belted cardigan. i think it all looks great, and regardless of how cold it was, she looked warm and reminded me of beaches in so-cal.  it’s inspiring to see someone wearing sweaters and jeans in a new way.  fresh.
