classic – ??? – downtown seattle

remember when we were all complaining because it was summer/winter.  well, i hear you won’t need your jacket today!  aren’t you jazzed summer finally showed up?

shop girl – jenny – {far4} – downtown seattle

if you’ve been to {far4} you know the treasures it holds. i’ve run in to jenny (and her mom!) all over seattle, and have enjoyed stopping by her shop on artwalk.  she gave me details for upcoming artwalk {far4} featured artists, and i’ll be stopping by next month in hopes of seeing her ‘family portrait’.  for more photos of jenny click Read more

color + stripes – brooklyn + michelle – SAMRemix

From needle+thread

brooklyn does nails. for butter of london. i forgot to ask if he went to NY fashion week… i loved his sweater, and loved it even more when he said he picked it up at benetton. so old school!

great coat – gail – capitol hill

From needle+thread

best detail? the velvet flats with the bow…

i loved her simple style (i’m in love with ANYTHING cardigan right now).  and her hair had been done for a hair show she had been in that morning.  it was so pretty, and the sparkle bow was just the right thing…

simple chic – eleanor – SAM – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

i always feel like something doesn’t have to be fussy to look put together- it’s one of my favourite details… eleanor looks finished. dark denim, an interesting coat, the scarf, flats… so simple, with a great result.

mixed graphic – lindsey – pioneer square

her dress was from anthropologie, and her purse was chanel.

great screen – mckenzie – capitol hill

study in blue+green – anita – ballard

anita tipped me off to locally designed kate quinn organics (her cute shift if from their women’s line).  you can see the top and their line here

work style – downtown seattle

this is emily.  you’ve already seen her great bag, and this is the rest of her look… i love emily’s use of color…that coat was lovely.  lots of great use of that golden color that i’ve seen recently… friday i showed it used on a handbag.  i think it’s a warmer yellow that more people can actually wear.

work style – downtown seattle

this is karissa.  she was in a hurry, i apologize for the blurry picture.  another example of basics, but i love the blouse with the ruffle detail.  i don’t know that i’d ever think of putting a striped cardigan over it, and it looks great.  everything is the right weight…she looks good.

work style – downtown seattle

this is courtney… i love that she’s wearing similar items to molly- a belted coat, jeans… (and even carrying the ‘pack it in to work bag’) but her style is so different.  she looks very polished, but still youthful.
