i didn’t think it was that odd to show up with a gift for a princess. is that weird? she’s royalty. i was made to feel like i showed up with a BOMB (books and flowers are sometimes scary, but i was taught you don’t show up empty handed- manners people, they’re not completely eradicated in america). i won’t even go in to the details surrounding taking a few photos of this very pretty woman. her… pr person? consulate representative? embassy handler? was extremely courteous (root word court! i’m a word nerd) everyone else needed to bring it down about a 1000. for more photos of the her royal highness, click Read more

another week of great events to get you out and about. here’s a short list of things going on this week… see something i’m missing- send me a note!
march 23-29- ongoing promotions at the bravern- my faves include dine around seattle at artisanal brasserie and the champagne and rose facial at red door spa (2010 is kam’s year of champagne for those who don’t know me)

i think they’re saying that everything’s blooming 3 weeks early. which… my friends with allergies aren’t so happy about, but this warm weather has made me forget all about winter, and has turned my mind towards what i’m going to wear this spring. i decided to document some flowers that have popped up- as soon as i got down on the ground, someone needed to check out the flowers too…

sometimes it’s just nice to wander the market and see all there is to see… the vendors shout out to you, smile… this lovely lady (wish i could remember her name !) was wearing a beautiful necklace that a customer had made for her… and i loved that she had a flower in her hair.
