Tag glasses

design duo – jeff + sam – barney’s – downtown seattle

i’ve gotten a wee bit behind… it might have been the over 700 images from the vogue show. here’s my images of the designers of shipley & halmos, such cool, social guys. always nice to meet the people behind the product. for a very nice write up, click here. to see their suit featured in vogue for fashion night out (congrats!) click here.

mickey – xin – barney’s – downtown seattle

glasses – cheryl – nordstrom designer preview – magnolia

the dandy – chris – nordstrom designer preview – magnolia

there’s something to be said for enjoying what you wear, for finding whimsy in fashion, and knowing your style.

glasses – linda – nordstrom designer preview – magnolia

glasses – cecelia – nordstrom designer preview – magnolia

boys of summer – ??? – downtown seattle

summer white – jordan – downtown seattle

blues – charles – downtown seattle

young + fun – ben – international district

this first week of the new job has been FUN! i’ve already learned a ton about legwear. like jeggings, and treggings… who knew? i saw ben and had to get a picture. i’ll be designing some legwear for spring 11 over the weekend… would love to hear your thoughts on the legging trends!

glasses – ??? – sam remix – seattle

suit – sean – sam remix – seattle

if you’re a fan of harvey danger, ENJOY!  also, how rude is it to jump in to photos…? also, my husband thinks sean’s pose is reminiscent of elvis costello. i agree.

best dressed – chris – sam remix – seattle

i met chris years ago… my favourite thing about him is that no matter when i run into him, he is always, without fail a) smiling b) dressed in a suit c) at a party.  which, i suppose, also means that i’m always at a party…hmmmm.  there are worse things than running into smiling, well dressed men at parties.

faces – mark – sam remix – seattle

use of color – alicia betty – pioneer square

alicia betty was a sweetie to let us (and all the other people) accost her on the street. when we stopped to ask her for a photo, i think some people thought she was famous (and also wanted photos), to which she responded- don’t you know who i am? i’m alicia betty!

plaid + cardi – j.r. – pioneer square

i often get shy stopping men on the street for photos. i wanted to ask j.r. about his tatoos, but… figured asking for a photo was enough.  love the very prep belt detail and cardi next to all the ink.

stripes – dustin – pioneer square

last night was artwalk…i headed down to my usual haunts, and roamed about.  i feel like pioneer square isn’t getting the traffic it used to.  downtown seemed to have more going on…

also, since i shirked my posting duties for most of the week (this isn’t my day job) i’ve decided you get the fruits of all my effort TODAY.  check back throughout the day for my whole artwalk series posted in one day.

next week i’m hoping i’ll have something from sam remix.  have a great weekend- xoxox k.

slim silhouette – gus – fremont

remember when it was sunny? ahhh, memories.  i think gus works at eyes on fremont.  one of the coolest places in seattle to buy glasses…

cool glasses – michael – luly yang show – seattle

details – tony – luly yang show – seattle

i was in love with the little shirt stud that he put in his suit coat buttonhole… such a cool little thing. figures that he works for a men’s shirt company…
