sometimes, even though it exceeds my budget… it’s fun to go poke through mario’s. there’s something truly decadent about drinking wine AND shopping. their events are also usually fun… a well dressed, fashionable crowd, the evening spent trying on denim or shoes, yearning for a lovely, sumptuous new handbag. last week, mario’s hosted a girlfriend night; giveaways, prosecco, mini cupcakes, shopping with a discount… all the trappings of girl-dream shopping experience.

One of my favorites – possibly because I could never have the guts for this getup – OR because she had the most polite, fragile personality. Exactly why we must never judge a book by its cover. Dissect her whole look and you’ll see a lot going on; but all together, and it meshes quite well. Her TALL boots, oversized bag, three-layered top and assortment of accessories must have doubled the weight of her 5’1’’ stature…haha. Cristiana. Packed a punch with her florescent hair.

these guys are in a band called tyler bryant band. i figured it was something, but had to ask the 12 year old girl sitting next to me. they were hanging with rock photographer bob knight… which makes sense, cause it looks like rock prophecies is all about their lead singer… i really like his car shoes. and you know how i feel about chucks.

one of the best parts of bumbershoot for me was seeing all the young kids with such individualistic style. i don’t remember being that savvy, that young. these two were so fun… their full length is a little blurry due to the rain on my lens… so hope the close-up suffices. i remember running around with my best girlfriends at this age. we would have died for something as fun as bumbershoot!
