accessory friday – pioneer square

this is lonn.  i stopped lonn at artwalk last night.  we talked about hats.  he has several.  i wish more men wore hats.  did you know that hats went out of fashion with JFK ?  he didn’t like wearing hats, and basically set the trend to not wear them… so i hear.  this is lonn’s blog.

accessory friday – downtown seattle

i wish i could remember this woman’s name.  john did a great job of writing people’s names down, but when i stopped this lady, he was on the other side of the street (we were going to cross, but then i saw her)… the one thing i saw in a lot of handbags… including the lady i stopped after this woman, who wouldn’t let me get a photo, was how seattle ladies use a bag to incorporate some really fun color.  i think especially for work there was a lot of monochromatic or muted shades and then these really great playful pops on bags.  even on the secondary pack bag (see: courtney and molly) it was a vehicle for getting more color in… orange, lime green, magenta.  i have a yellow bag this very color (i might have forgotten that) and i should get it out.  it will go great with my new navy spring coat… now if only spring would stick around so i can finally put the down away… we can wish.  happy friday !

work style – downtown seattle

my friend john and i had high hopes for finding some people this morning at bus stops, but… ended up walking the streets downtown.  work style was a lot more tricky, people in a hurry aren’t really interested in having their picture snapped.  but thanks to the people who took a moment, we’ll be posting a few each day for a week… check back for you photo if you don’t see it, i’ll also be using some of the photos for item specific posts – purses.  thanks for stopping by !

Font sizethis is molly.  doesn’t she look great ?  out of most of the people we shot, all of the nordstrom folk were pretty stylish.  we forgot to tell molly good luck… hey molly… good luck !
