fawn + lightning – amanda + kate – SAM Remix – Seattle

From needle+thread

i once read an article in some magazine about how a woman who’s past her 20′s should be careful how she chooses to use graphics/graphic tee’s.  i wanted to write in about what a load of crap it all was, but my time is better spent.  like taking pictures of people who do a great job sporting graphic tee’s.  and age schmage.  if you like it, my bet is you can wear it.

I love pairing graphic tees with cardigans. These two look great!
I think it’s unfair to limit certain styles to certain ages.

  2. Yes, that IS a load of crap, the whole “don’t wear printed t’s” rule. Granted, if it’s some message-t that’s got something particularly infantile, then that’s up for debate, but there are so many amazing silkscreen artists out there, with designs that are as distinctive as a unique silhouette or material. Why not wear art as a garment?

yeah, i’m kinda against the whole, wear this for your age. i think there are SOME things, but come on. i’ve seen older pull off short… tastefully, and if i want to rock a screen tee, the thought that i’m… the age i am ;) isn’t going to stop me.
