prairie home companion has been on my list of shows that are a ‘must see’ for a while. this last saturday i was fortunate enough to go take pictures for after dark on the p-i. if you’ve ever caught a snippet of the show on npr, been lulled into a realm of america that seems to exist only in our imaginations (or history), you’ve heard garrison talk about lake woebegone.
fortunately, tickets for next week’s performance are still available. prepare to be entertained, and laugh at your perfectly summed up seattle self, as described/sung/crooned by mr. keillor himself.

The shoes! I’m so glad you got the shoes!
When I went to go see him in Mesa, this little voice in the back of my head told me to wear my red sneakers. I didn’t know why I got that idea so I just ignored it. I remembered to late when I got there and saw his. I know he would have liked mine, too.
Are your pics going to be on the P-I header again like the Jet ones?!
Oh, I’m so sad I wasn’t in Seattle for this! I love the red shoes.
