every time i go to the dog park, i seem to meet someone new, or talk about something interesting (as it relates to dogs) with someone. we went last weekend (ok, i’m there 3 times a week) and met this group of people who all had rescued these dogs. they were literally all this pretty, and seemed whip SMART. when i went down to take a picture, i couple of them circled back behind me, and went in for my pocket (treats in there!). here’s some info on the breed, and apparently, you can rescue this type of dog through petfinder.com
great shot! It was a Formosan Mountain Dog meetup! We have a big following in seattle too. If you search for us on Facebook the group will appear. There’s about 45 of us in the group. We do monthly meet ups at Magnusen park. We get about 10 to 15 Formosan to show!
