call to action – local bloggers – seattle

wow.  if you’ve ever had a kid, you know i’m not kidding when i say, i didn’t even realize 5 months went by.  if you haven’t had a kid… please understand that time, and it’s passage, have new meaning for me.

i wouldn’t trade a single second of everything that’s transpired.  being pregnant… sucked.  but you know the upside? your very own baby.  it’s been a pretty crazy ride, but now it’s time to get back to all things style in our city, and putting up some inspiring content on needle+thread.

i’m putting it out there that i’d love contributors.  want to write about local retail?  love to take photos of your fashionable friends?  do you like to illustrate or draw?  if you live in seattle, and have any creative inklings that are (or are not) related to fashion and/or style… drop me a line.  my only goal here has been to show what the people in our city are like… walking the streets, going to shows… i want to continue that, and would love for you to help me.  looking forward to hearing from you!

I missed your return to blogging! I have been inconsistent with posting, as well as perusing and commenting on other blogs. Congratulations on your little dude! Enjoy every moment. They grow up so fast :o( Mine just started 2nd and 4th grades yesterday.

I’d love to be a contributor, but if you look at my blog you can see that I’ve been fashionably lazy and my blog is not polished. I’m still so matchy matchy in my dress. I use my iPhone as my camera. My blog is more like a flighty college student’s whereas yours has that Garance Doré/The Sartorialist flair to it. Perhaps someday when I have a real camera I can contribute? My blog will still be a hot mess, so I’ll save the good stuff to contribute to yours?

Either which way, I’m glad to see you back! I discovered you via one of the Seattle Magazines and I’m pretty sure your blog was one of the first I put on my blogroll.
