biking chic – local design – daily candy – vote now!

I love that Seattle is such a bike city. Great for the environment, great for the glutes. The only problem? It can be a challenge to stay protected and stay fashionable while pedaling, especially when you’re caught in the inevitable rain shower. Solution? The Iva Jean rain cape.

Features:
Silkara Ultrex, a durable water resistant fabric (back off, puddles!)
Reflective piping for increased visibility (safety first!)
Half zipper for easy dressing and removing (so your J. Crew blouse stays in top shape)

The founder of Iva Jean, Ann DeOtte, is an avid Seattle cyclist (minus the scary spandex) who’s big on breaking barriers. AND, she’s made it to the big time: Daily Candy is featuring her in their annual Start Small, Go Big contest.

Be sure to vote for this Seattle girl here!

i came upon this guy while walking…he was having a bite, leaning up against his bike. it was so casual, and such a nice night to enjoy… there was just an air to the moment. i felt bad bothering him for a picture, and almost didn’t ask, just took it. the 2nd one, i’m not sure if he saw me snap it… i like these moments when someone is just enjoying…
