fall trends – under wraps – vogue front row fashion

this little red coat (with the plaid peeking out) was adorable. some great looks for men and women, and just a reminder, everything was available at bellevue square! i loved picking out little details, and seeing where i could get them. i have a bit of a coat fetish, and have been wondering about the shape i’d like to get this year… i’m wanting something long, and cozy. for all the runway looks, be sure to click Read more

matching set – capitol hill

i have been wanting one of those oversize knit caps. mainly just so i don’t have to fix my hair, but also because i think they’re so urban (and they’d ‘go’ with my oversize, chunky knit obsession). who remembers what designer did them a few years back… was it marc jacobs?

isn’t his jacket fab?

i love that everything looks relatively new, and then you get to the shoes. they look very loved…

doesn’t the market look festive? i’ve been trying to stroll through once a week to soak it in…

we play favourites – elizabeth – blogmeetblog

From needle+thread

have i mentioned what a treat it was to get to meet a whole bunch of new bloggers, and there by get to know some new blogs. i thought i had, but here’s another- one must shock the bourgeois. and i might have been a little green with envy of her chartreuse coat… it’s lovely!

sometimes what makes a night even more fun, are the people you enjoy it with. i like really serious, stuffy people. as you can see. thanks ladies for the fun night!

high shine – tessa – SAM Remix – Seattle

i looked at a jacket very similar to this and passed.  it was a drab olive color… LOVE it in black.  would have bought it in a second in black.

does she have the most amazing hair or what?

hint of color – bradley + sadie – mario’s – downtown seattle

bradley was one of a hand-full of men (all well dressed) at the mario’s event.  i liked the subdued overcoat/jean/boot, and then that purple scarf!  sadie was so camera ready…

business inspired – andy + chris + justin – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

i love that these gentlemen are technically business dress, but that they’ve each added a bit of personality. the puffer coat, the denim, that bright purple. a lot of personalization, and definite knowledge about how things work together. all of them are in the business (paul and shark, mario’s and brioni) so… hopefully this just gives them additional street cred.

sunny afternoon – nyle – downtown seattle

other than my shadow on his foot, i love the classic look.  plaid tie!  can’t even remember the last time i saw a plaid tie.  it was probably eric meyer in 1993.  *swoon*

musical style – performer – fremont

this girl plays at the fremont market…

vogue – front row fashion – topcoats

one of the things i loved about all the shows, the use of hosiery. i am a tight/sock addict. i think seeing how they’ve put some of these looks together is inspiring- that floral lace look (texture) and color were predominant… want to see the rest of the topcoats? visit the front row topcoat album.

simple chic – eleanor – SAM – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

i always feel like something doesn’t have to be fussy to look put together- it’s one of my favourite details… eleanor looks finished. dark denim, an interesting coat, the scarf, flats… so simple, with a great result.

going up – niki – nordstrom fashion show – bellevue fashion week

rocker style – jerry – bumbershoot

From needle+thread

jerry was affiliated in some way with ‘skinny puppy’. i just liked his jacket, and the fact that he’s wearing a bauhaus t-shirt.

use of color – jessica – downtown seattle

that lovely green marc jacob handbag is so vibrant, the little pop of yellow on her shoe, and the coral mesh tee…
