i sometimes tackle more than i can handle. and in thinking about it, it’s not that i think i can’t handle it. it’s simply forces working against me. (or my inability to say no to something fun? hmmm…)

i’m picky when it comes to dress up. i like comfort in my dressy. that usually means at least an a-line, and if i can swing it… something shift like. none of these looks were all that wearable for me, but they were certainly gorgeous. lots of jewel-tone and sparkle. see all 23 evening glam looks in the album.

jade is the perfect way to round out the gala series… what a dress. what a lady. she told me her bracelets have to be put on in a certain order… i love the quirks of people. very beautiful.

beatrice was one of the nicest women that i met at the gala, and the first i asked to take a photo. i loved her necklace, and had i not been suffering nerves, should have asked for a close up… lovely! an aside, loved that most men were in tuxes!
