SAM – mark – first thursday – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

i feel like mark’s shirt is on inside out, or it’s an interesting design detail. either way, i think it’s a point of interest, and i like it.

andria of emerald city sightings says-

Leather and candy. That’s the combo going on here. Only a select few can pull off one single material head to toe – not to mention that material being Leather – but this gal did it and definitely got my attention. The harsh material, pixie cut, and dark colors, combated by her feminine makeup and bright red lips create a great balance and keep her from looking like a biker babe. Turns out she writes a local fashion blog and was all too eager to take a few fun shots in the candy aisle. Rough yet angelic demeanor. Angelica.

suspenders – mel – urban blowout – bellevue fashion week

vogue – front row fashion – topcoats

From needle+thread

one of the things i loved about all the shows, the use of hosiery. i am a tight/sock addict. i think seeing how they’ve put some of these looks together is inspiring- that floral lace look (texture) and color were predominant… want to see the rest of the topcoats? visit the front row topcoat album.

seattle tradition – juan – downtown seattle

i wonder that he’s still doing what he used to do. i saw him out there with the sign, but he was just holding it. maybe he’s become more peaceful. although, judging by the sign, the sentiment is still there.

rocker mom style – bumbershoot

From needle+thread
i try not to take photos from the back…and if i do, i tend to go find people. i was a little on sensory overload, and honestly, forgot. but…i loved her fun style, and if that IS her child, he’s pretty hip too.

graphic + kicks – dan – bumbershoot

From needle+thread

if there’s one thing i’ve been inspired to buy, it’s a fun pair of retro kicks. the kids like their shoes.

young + fun – phoebe – bumbershoot

From needle+thread

andy + grace – boutique culture warehouse sale – fremont

From needle+thread

andy and grace were waiting to shop the sale, they were brother and sis. what a cool older bro who takes his sister shopping!

summer weight – ben – fremont market

From needle+thread
i thought this light-weight kind of ‘member’s only’ inspired (or is it actually M.O. ? i think i see a tag) jacket was cool. and i feel like i’m seeing sunny yellow everywhere…

black + black – pasquale – pioneer square

From needle+thread

when i worked at nordstrom, if i happened across pasquale downtown… it’d eat up my entire lunch break. he often has one of his bulldogs with him, and he’s always well dressed. his style is unique, and very fitted to him… and his music is beautiful. he often plays at serafina on eastlake, looks like he’ll be there august 8th at 9pm.

use of color – dennis – pioneer square

men who wear hats – kekoa – experience music project

this gentleman was walking by as i was accosting fashion attendees… i loved his tee, and then asked about his hat. he said it was to keep his hair back.

hat + shoes – downtown seattle

this guy was in a hurry, so of course i forgot to record his name.  he works at the fluevog store downtown… i really wanted him to tell me about his tattoos, but already felt like i was bugging him… maybe next time.
