Tag hoodie

matching set – endearment + dancer – downtown seattle

all these details, and i just noticed his shoes… i loved that she took her clothes apart and put them back together in such a cool way… i feel like when i see this, it usually, very much fits the person. for a back view click Read more

concert style – ??? – south downtown

traveling alone to a show, and perusing the younger crowd is intimidating. maybe it’s flashbacks to highschool… i really liked this hoodie, it looked so cozy.  and those boots, those boots were the whole reason i stopped her.  i thought she was rock, without being ‘rock’.

matching set – christopher + tifan – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

the dogs are pretty cute too.

the small things – jackie – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

i wear glasses.  i often think when i wear glasses that i shouldn’t accessorize.  i loved seeing jackie’s earrings, glasses, scarf… it wasn’t too much.  and although her look is casual, it still has personality.  the retro colors in the scarf are perfect…

SAM – christopher – first thursday – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

having just spent most of yesterday at the seattle art museum, i am familiar with all it’s nooks and crannies. do you know where the giant eyeball wall mural is ? i would love for someone to take their picture there and send it in to me… be sure to check back when needle+thread relaunches for some amazing new style bios.

SAM – johan – first thursday – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

in between fashion shows, i made it to first thursday. i can see now, it was a lot for me to do in a week. and after running from northgate, to kent, to bellevue, to downtown, editing pictures, and monitoring each passerby for style, my mind wasn’t on ME. i made a grotesque-ly bad footwear choice, and by the end of the night, i was barefoot in the rain. better than deformed feet i guess, or falling on my butt. i like this series from SAM, my week of pictures was predominantly younger…

photogenic style – jake – bumbershoot

From needle+thread

jake and his wife were visiting from tennessee to shoot the show. i’m so glad she tracked me down on twitter !

graphic + kicks – dan – bumbershoot

From needle+thread

if there’s one thing i’ve been inspired to buy, it’s a fun pair of retro kicks. the kids like their shoes.

friend style – cameron + shelby – bumbershoot

From needle+thread

one of the best parts of bumbershoot for me was seeing all the young kids with such individualistic style. i don’t remember being that savvy, that young. these two were so fun… their full length is a little blurry due to the rain on my lens… so hope the close-up suffices. i remember running around with my best girlfriends at this age. we would have died for something as fun as bumbershoot!

with the band – anthony – experience music project

From needle+thread

he had the most gorgeous hair, and it looked shiny, healthy clean, bonus points for a teenage boy (i had brothers). his kicks, his guns and roses tee, the bandana…

use of color – evan – experience music project

From needle+thread

evan and chase (from a previous post) are brothers. i always wonder, when i see jeans this skinny, where people find them… anyone have a skinny jean hot spot ?

bowie fan – gerald – downtown seattle

this post was going to be about gerald’s eyewear.  but then the picture didn’t really do it any justice (they were a milky aqua on the entire inside).  now it can be about his cool kicks, great denim and killer screen tee.

layers + chucks – yen + jia – downtown seattle

i believe these ladies thought i was quite insane (random girl on the corner asking for pictures).  i just loved all her layers, and i really really wish i’d taken a close up of those chucks…

great screen – mckenzie – capitol hill

books + velour – greg – capitol hill

some people will flat out say no when asked if you can take their picture.  this gentleman was more non-committal.  while he was deciding, i snapped a few.  he wouldn’t turn to me, but you get the idea… that velour jumper and heather ringer tee are so retro.  he said he got the zippie at american apparel.  here it is.

comic book hero – dre – downtown seattle

accessory friday – shopping bag chic – melinda

great use of graphic with finnish designed marimekko print shopping bag. the bold bag does a nice job of finishing her already cool look.

converse weekend – tatiana – pike place market

converse weekend – capitol hill

this is david.  he was very patient with my lack of photography skills.  capitol hill is amuck with the chucks.
