vogue – front row fashion – topcoats

From needle+thread

From needle+thread

one of the things i loved about all the shows, the use of hosiery. i am a tight/sock addict. i think seeing how they’ve put some of these looks together is inspiring- that floral lace look (texture) and color were predominant… want to see the rest of the topcoats? visit the front row topcoat album.

vogue – front row fashion – biker chic

i’m a little behind in posting some of the bellevue fashion week stuff… i figured you’d still enjoy seeing some fall fashion (since fall IS just starting), and it’s all available from bellevue square. i’ll post an album a day, and that’ll get us through the vogue show. visit the biker chic album for the rest of the looks.

bloggers love chocolate – eunice – the nightingale – fremont

From needle+thread

another participant in the blogger mini-meet… eunice writes what’s your tale nightingale. i was so envious of her vintage nikon bag, i swore i’d find one just like it. i love when something unexpected works for something other than what it was meant.

also… if you live in the area, and want to be included in the next blogger meet up, drop me a line!

seattle p-i style bio – tessa – west seattle

From needle+thread

in addition to all of the bumbershoot coverage, neiman marcus opening hoo-ha, people visiting from far away lands (sequim counts) and starting a new, full time job… i also maintain a weekly feature on the needle+thread p-i edition. now i’m going to get some sleep.

matching set – josh + erin – fremont market

From needle+thread

it’s fun to see someone, and think, oh… them ! and then approach them, they turn around… and you know them ! josh and i went to school together about 7 years ago… he’s always had cool style. actually, it was erin’s socks i saw first…

sparkle + shine – reba – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

i love that her handbag was her mom’s when she was young, and the necklace… she made.

something unexpected – darrah – NDP, downtown seattle

From needle+thread

darrah and i had traded emails, but never met. i couldn’t help but stop this lady for a snap, and then realized it was her. you can see a full length bio of darrah’s style this friday on the seattle P-I blog.

layers + chucks – yen + jia – downtown seattle

i believe these ladies thought i was quite insane (random girl on the corner asking for pictures).  i just loved all her layers, and i really really wish i’d taken a close up of those chucks…

black + white – mai – capitol hill

tessa style – capitol hill

this is tessa… having heard about how cute she dressed, i was delighted upon actually meeting her.  mix of pattern, thrift, great finds for a steal… girl after my own heart.  and that coat !  she found that at nordstrom rack. every girl could use a little shine.  (sorry about the rain blobs !, it IS seattle)
