Tag market bag

great bags – mila – ballard

allie and i decided to hit the ballard market this past sunday, and it was packed.  apparently everyone wants to soak up the quasi-sunshine (before it’s gone again) and there was no shortage of people to snap… we loved mila’s bright bags, i think she said she picked them up in italy?  of course…

enjoy the photos over the next couple of weeks…

cute hat – jessica? – pike place market

i’m sad you can only faintly see the floral pattern on her tights. have you been wearing tights this june? yeah, me too.

don’t miss – moore & giles – blackbird – ballard

moore and giles bags, blackbird seattle

moore and giles have driven an airstream trailer all the way from virginia. that alone should pique your curiosity. outside ballard’s very own blackbird, the trailer (with all of their delicious, sumptuous leather bags) is parked, and will remain in the vicinity through the week.  if you miss the blackbird event, be sure to catch them at mario’s downtown next friday and saturday.  want to see some of these beauties?  then you should click Read more

spring springs – fremont sunday market

From needle+thread

this lovely lady had her coat, and her hat… but the pretty lavender, light scarf and sunglasses? direct indicators that spring is coming…

classic trench – haylee – downtown seattle

easy chic – teresa – pike place market

From needle+thread

the fit of the trouser, the boot, the easy tee… it’s all very simple, and looks great.

like minded – stiele + crystal + ingrid + jane – capitol hill

i believe two of these ladies were from australia and two from portland.  there are so many interesting details in here, i’ve already looked at it several times.

color pop – joseph – capitol hill

when i was a kid, we called these deck shoes.  or topsiders. when i was a kid, lovely joseph still would have been 8 years away from being born.  i find it cool that a look can be recycled even though the wearer had no knowledge of previous iteration…

accessory friday – shopping bag chic – robin

i don’t know that i’ve thought of making my market bag a focal point. after seeing these girls do it so well… looking good and doing right seems easy and stylish. enjoy the solstice this weekend !

accessory friday – shopping bag chic – jennie

this lady does an amazing job of accessorizing… there’s usually one thing she’s wearing that i either drool over, or covet. when i looked down and saw her great kicks with the little bit of lurex in the laces i was envious. she also makes amazing jewelry… you can find it here.

accessory friday – shopping bag chic – melinda

great use of graphic with finnish designed marimekko print shopping bag. the bold bag does a nice job of finishing her already cool look.
