Tag men with bags

denim – andrew – downtown seattle

this gentleman said he modeled for blackbird, and that most of his items were from there… loving the navy shoe.

boys of summer – kinjo twins – downtown seattle

use of color – ben – downtown seattle

stripes – dustin – pioneer square

last night was artwalk…i headed down to my usual haunts, and roamed about.  i feel like pioneer square isn’t getting the traffic it used to.  downtown seemed to have more going on…

also, since i shirked my posting duties for most of the week (this isn’t my day job) i’ve decided you get the fruits of all my effort TODAY.  check back throughout the day for my whole artwalk series posted in one day.

next week i’m hoping i’ll have something from sam remix.  have a great weekend- xoxox k.

layers – steve – downtown seattle

i thought the layered cardigans was an interesting detail…

slim silhouette – robert – seattle center

don’t miss – moore and giles – downtown seattle

what a week, right? so many fun events happening this lovely spring in seattle… i’m savoring all that i can…

be sure to check out the BEAUTIFUL bags at the head to toe event at mario’s- supplied by the moore and giles airstream (happening 10am-5pm). and for all of the pictures from the needle+thread photoshoot… click here.

don’t miss – moore & giles – blackbird – ballard

moore and giles bags, blackbird seattle

moore and giles have driven an airstream trailer all the way from virginia. that alone should pique your curiosity. outside ballard’s very own blackbird, the trailer (with all of their delicious, sumptuous leather bags) is parked, and will remain in the vicinity through the week.  if you miss the blackbird event, be sure to catch them at mario’s downtown next friday and saturday.  want to see some of these beauties?  then you should click Read more

i came upon this guy while walking…he was having a bite, leaning up against his bike. it was so casual, and such a nice night to enjoy… there was just an air to the moment. i felt bad bothering him for a picture, and almost didn’t ask, just took it. the 2nd one, i’m not sure if he saw me snap it… i like these moments when someone is just enjoying…

business inspired – andy + chris + justin – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

i love that these gentlemen are technically business dress, but that they’ve each added a bit of personality. the puffer coat, the denim, that bright purple. a lot of personalization, and definite knowledge about how things work together. all of them are in the business (paul and shark, mario’s and brioni) so… hopefully this just gives them additional street cred.

in the details – austin + coco – downtown seattle

at first, i didn’t see her.  but when i did… i loved it.

fall plaid – jordan – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

another boy with plaid… i liked this.  it suited him… it has to be vintage.  it kind of made me giggle… i used to have to design plaid sweaters for little boys around holiday when i was at nordstrom… i prefer jordan’s.

SAM – christopher – first thursday – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

having just spent most of yesterday at the seattle art museum, i am familiar with all it’s nooks and crannies. do you know where the giant eyeball wall mural is ? i would love for someone to take their picture there and send it in to me… be sure to check back when needle+thread relaunches for some amazing new style bios.

SAM – johan – first thursday – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

in between fashion shows, i made it to first thursday. i can see now, it was a lot for me to do in a week. and after running from northgate, to kent, to bellevue, to downtown, editing pictures, and monitoring each passerby for style, my mind wasn’t on ME. i made a grotesque-ly bad footwear choice, and by the end of the night, i was barefoot in the rain. better than deformed feet i guess, or falling on my butt. i like this series from SAM, my week of pictures was predominantly younger…
