mickey – xin – barney’s – downtown seattle

cropped – doyon – ndp – magnolia

mixed pattern – anthony – pike place market

you may remember anthony from a sam remix shot… i saw him the day after i took these photos, and would have asked for another photo had i not been on my way to meet someone. his mix of pattern and accessories is spot on.

cool glasses – michael – luly yang show – seattle

nautical – stephen – downtown seattle

polished – john – pioneer square

From needle+thread

the black is saturated, not washed or faded, the shoes are glossy, the white, crisp…the fit is slim. these details denote an amount of attention i admire…

urban prep – jono – SAMRemix – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

the pink and yellow, to me, are little tells that say spring is on people’s minds.

winter blues – gora – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

gora was so dapper, how could i not stop him. great mix of pattern, and new and old. love it when a guy does something out of the ordinary.

denim + dressy – craig – pike place market

From needle+thread

the other night i walked the market at sunset… it was so crisp, and there were so many people who looked on their way to somewhere. i liked his little bit of dressy, but still casual. perfect for december.

business inspired – andy + chris + justin – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

i love that these gentlemen are technically business dress, but that they’ve each added a bit of personality. the puffer coat, the denim, that bright purple. a lot of personalization, and definite knowledge about how things work together. all of them are in the business (paul and shark, mario’s and brioni) so… hopefully this just gives them additional street cred.

fall transition – steve – downtown seattle

this week’s posts are mainly guys… i love the range of styles, details and silhouette. hope you enjoy.

logan neitzel – boutique culture warehouse sale – fremont

From needle+thread

boutique culture wasn’t this past weekend, but the weekend before… you may have seen the piece i did about kim, the founder? great sale, great idea… loved the dj, and there were some amazing deals from some of your favourite local boutiques.

logan neitzel is on this season’s project runway. i’m saving them up on the dvr, then i’m going to sit down and see what all this project runway fuss is about. it’s pretty cool to have what seems to be a fairly normal dude representing our city. can’t wait to see how it goes!

oh, and if you’re thinking i went a little nuts on the posts this morning, this past weekend was bumbershoot, and i need to get caught up… because i got some GREAT shots of stars, seattlites and style. check back !

use of color – dennis – pioneer square
