naturally 7 opened for michael buble’ and they were AMAZING! i’m so excited to be turned on to this band… after going a little nuts over ‘straight no chaser’ this past christmas, these guys are a perfect addition to my a cappella collection (and not to play favourites, but better). be sure to click read more for more photos of their style and a video of them performing! friends – SAM Remix – seattle

From needle+thread

i have some very stylish friends.  gopi, i think, was actually voted most stylish guy in seattle one year, and maria looks good even when she decides at the very last minute that she’s going out with us.  both of them seem to embrace style pretty effortlessly, and i love the easy grace of what they wear and how they wear it.  i think maria’s quote that night was, ‘anything looks good if you’re wearing red lipstick’.  i agree.

guest post – glam rock – josanna – paris

From needle+thread

andria of emerald city sighting says-

Here comes the glitter again. I have a feeling that none of this was bought right off the rack. Her worn-in Converse and faded jeans give her overall look a thrown together vibe which may or may not be even accurate. In any case, Josanne has a fun rock look, without losing her fresh feminine feel. I stopped her on the Monmatre streets in Paris – although she calls Holland home. Josanne. Rockin’ Paris.

dapper – michael – seattle fashion tv event – waterfront

From needle+thread

last night was the seattle fashion tv industry/launch party. it was great to meet so many industry people, and have such a cool setting for a soiree…

michael has his own line of clothing, you can see what he does here.

best look – nordstrom fashion show – rag & bone

From needle+thread

From needle+thread

i personally couldn’t pull off that first look, but… i do love it. the trim jacket, and tuxedo stripe trousers… very subtle military. and the guys look… i’m a sucker for a guy in a vest. especially this casual… again, subtle military styling. want to see all the rag & bone looks? visit the rag & bone album.

serious dandy – chris – bellevue fashion week – nordstrom fashion show

From needle+thread

this is chris. chris has literally been the first person to make me feel like there’s an audience out there… he knew who i was, and i have to admit, i blushed. how fun that there are people out there who appreciate this. love that. and love chris’s style. if you do too, check out his blog, emerald dandy.

trixie + melvin – yard dogs road show – downtown seattle

From needle+thread

black + black – pasquale – pioneer square

From needle+thread

when i worked at nordstrom, if i happened across pasquale downtown… it’d eat up my entire lunch break. he often has one of his bulldogs with him, and he’s always well dressed. his style is unique, and very fitted to him… and his music is beautiful. he often plays at serafina on eastlake, looks like he’ll be there august 8th at 9pm.

pretty ladies – maria +tara – hazel salon, phinney

tara started hazel salon and organics.  it’s a new, all organic salon up on phinney, if you want to read about tara and maria’s style, i profiled them for the new P-I blog that you can find here.

black + white – melodie – fremont

all of the ladies i’m posting today had great short hair… i didn’t notice till i got home and looked through the pics…

dressy casual – edward – pike place market

thaw fashion show – south downtown (sodo)

this is jared and billy.  the only other picture i took at the thaw fashion show.  i loved the mix of color and pattern that billy used… we actually talked a bit about what influenced his ability to create this style.  these two guys were funny and were actually having a bit of reunion, so i snapped their pic and then let them be… i wish i ran into more men who were so creative clothing-wise.
