i simply must tell you about my latest acquisition!  a marvel of modern technology called a '3-d printed thread winder'. it is quite an improvement over the wooden ones i currently use, and has made stitching so much more amenable. i can now wind my threads in no time at all, leaving me ample time to deal with the care of my ladies unmentionables.
 
speaking of unmentionables, have you heard the latest gossip surrounding miss jones? seen walking the moors yesterday with a tall, handsome gentleman! it seems their love is as unrequited as ever. enough of that scandalous fare- i must away to my stitches.
